One positive aspect of this lurgy is that it has caused me to resolve to finally quit smoking once and for all. All my smoking paraphernalia has been chucked out. I could hardly breathe at the weekend which gave me a taste of just what it might be like to have a lung disease, not pleasant.
So presuming I don't already have one of course...

The Dreaded Lurgy and Loony Kittens
Spent the last couple of days in coughing, shivering hell. Retched up an interestingly orange hued 'greeny' early on. I've added a new colour to the phlegm rainbow.
The kittens are running amok just now and squeaking and squacking like a couple of deranged martial arts fighters. They like to fling themselves at one another so they can collide spectacularly in mid air.
We've been taking them to the shed with us when we go to work on it and they get to let off a lot of steam then. When they got home after their first day out there they collapsed in exhausted heaps and slept for the following 12 hours, which made for a good nights sleep for a change. Unfortunately their stamina is growing fast, as are their bodies. The force is strong in these two...
